Okay, so I want to watch a Canadian programme (spelled Canadia-style!) being shown on the web. But because the site is hateful my IP is not from Canada, the website is not letting me watch it.

I've tried to sneak on using proxy sites, but I'm either doing it wrong (clicking on the proxy site and then entering the address of the video) or they just aren't working. Any thoughts or ideas?

Off the top of my head: the proxy could be blocking videos (that's a lot of bandwidth) or the CBC could be blocking known public proxies.
